Q:How should I care for my Turquoise jewelry ?

A:  Your turquoise jewelry can withstand daily wear but it's essential not to have them on during strenuous activities and that you remove them during hand washing. Avoid exposing them to heat or direct sunlight when not worn. Also make sure not to have them on while applying lotion ( advice also applicable to the leather bracelets). Since they are untreated they would absorb the oils which would alter the color of the stone.

They should be the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you put away at night.

It's also good practice to wipe them with a soft cloth and to put them away in your Ciel Turquoise pouches to prevent your jewelry from scratching one another.

Turquoise jewelry well cared for should last you a lifetime.

Q: Is the patina on the jewelry permanent?

A: Most Ciel Turquoise items feature an antique patina. It is achieved by changing the color of the surface of sterling silver. It is not permanent , so if subject to scratches or water it can diminish. The best way to preserve the finish is to avoid exposing the item to water, lotions and not wear during strenuous activity.

Please note that items featuring Turquoise should never be exposed to water, or lotions.

Q: What kind of Turquoise do you carry?

A: We specialize in Natural Turquoise. Because it is rare, beautiful and amazing! The different mines from which the stones come from can vary. To know what stones we currently have available for custom orders. Please send us a message.

We do not sell loose stones. The stones we carry are only to be set in our designs.

Custom orders

Q: Do you take custom orders?

A: We love custom orders. Just let us know which model from our Jewelry collection you would like to customize. Sending us your ring size and the type of stone you have in mind ( color, shape) and we'll give you an estimate with the price and the time frame.  Simply fill-out the custom order form by going to the custom order tab on top right corner of our web page.


Q: Can the rings be resized?

A: We do not resize rings. This is why we advise that you check your correct ring size by going to a jeweler.You can also order a ring sizer here in our shop. If you see a ring from our collection that you like but your size isn't available please send us a message, and we'll see if we can custom make it for you.

For some pieces, the final size of the ring hasn't been determined. The stone is still unset which allows to choose the size at checkout. Please allow an extra 7 business days for completing the ring. If the order needs to be rushed, feel free to contact us.


Q: What is your preferred method of shipping?

A: Our carrier of choice is USPS. Within the US everything is shipped Priority Mail, it provides tracking and costs $8. If you would like insurance, it's $12. For pieces above $1000 we offer free express shipping with Fedex.

For International orders the default shipping method doesn't provide a tracking or insurance and it costs $16 . If you would like to insure your package or have it sent registered mail, please contact us. We can provide you with a quote.

Q: How long will it take for my order to ship?

A: We do our best to ship all orders as soon as possible, please allow 1 to 3 business days. If you need an order rushed please contact us so we can work with you to help you getting it on time.

Q: Where do you ship?

A: We ship all around the world. Keep in mind that orders outside of the US might be subject to custom and duty fees. These fees are the responsibility of the person receiving the package .

International orders

Q: How do I determine the custom fees?

A: You can try this duty calculator (the first two calculations are free). It will give you an estimate of the custom and duty fees based on the nature and the value of the item.

Q: Who is responsible for the custom fees?

A: The person receiving the package will be responsible for paying all custom fees . If it's your first time ordering internationally make sure to do your research before placing your order.

Customer service

Q: What is Ciel Turquoise warranty policy?

A: Ciel Turquoise stands behind its products so if anything were to happen to an item that was not cause by either wear and tear , or because the item was mishandled. We will be happy to take in consideration your concern and fix the issue. Just send us an email with a picture.


Q: What is your return policy?

A:  If for any reasons you aren't happy with your purchase,  please email us with your concerns within 24 hours of receiving your item.  Remember to mention your name and the reason for your return in your email . The merchandise has to be in perfect condition, showing no signs of wear. It will have to be sent back in its original packaging, with tracking and insurance for the entire value of the item, within 7 days of receiving it.  .The customer assumes the shipping and insurance cost for the returned item. And will be credited back the amount of the purchase minus the shipping charges.We reserve the right to deny unreasonable exchanges or returns.

All Special orders are final sale, and can't be exchanged or returned.

Note: If the item you receive was damaged during shipping. Keep all packaging and contact us within 24 hours of receiving it.
